Garden Membership Renewal
It's that time of year again – garden membership renewal is now due, as all memberships expire on December 31st.
Join Us!
If you are not yet a garden member, now is a great time to join. For membership details, please visit our website: https://www.northbrightoncg.com/membership.
Membership fees are $15 per household for the year.
Funds from memberships contribute to the upkeep of our beautiful garden.
To streamline administration for our volunteers, we prefer electronic payments. You can find payment details on our website: https://www.northbrightoncg.com/membership.
If you prefer to pay in cash, payments can be made to committee members during Wednesday morning teas or at working bees.
Membership Benefits
One of the perks of being a general garden member is access to the garden gate code, allowing you to visit the garden whenever you like (after agreeing to the terms and conditions).
Please note that the gate code will be reset on Saturday, January 31st.
The new code will be shared with current financial general garden members.
Our First Working Bee of the Year
When: Sunday 4th January, 10am
Where: North Brighton Community Garden, 61 Bowker St, North Brighton
We’re excited to kick off our first working bee of the year with a fresh approach!
• Morning Tea: We’ll begin with a morning tea, allowing garden members and participants to mingle and get to know each other.
• Introducing Subgroups: We will share ideas about various garden subgroups that will focus on different areas of the garden and encourage members to express their interests in joining these groups. Some of the groups are: communal garden beds, fruit trees, sensory garden, arts & crafts.
After enjoying a chat and cuppa, we’ll discuss the various tasks that need attention in the garden and offer guidance for those eager to contribute to its care. Then, it will be time to roll up our sleeves and get gardening!
What to bring: gardening gloves, sun protection & drink
December New Member Orientation & Working Bee
New member orientation will be on Sunday December 14th at 10.30am.
There is not a working bee planned for December. However, if you would like to help out there will be people at the garden in the morning of Sunday the 14th.
